The Journey Ends
I arrived home from Zambia on Friday with a heart filled with love and memories of my wonderful children. I tried many times to write my feeling down before leaving but it posed to be too difficult. So today with a heavy heart I write. I have been truly blessed to have been chosen to take part in what God is doing in Zambia. Every inch of the village is filled with the presence of God. I have seen first hand the amazing work that God is doing in the hearts of our children and I look forward to seeing what he has planned next. I miss them all so very much but I know that I will be back very soon. God has called me to do a mighty work there and I am going to be obedient and do what I have been called to do. Please continue to pray for each and every one of them. May they continue to experience the Joy of the Lord and the love that I have for them and may their prayers regarding their education be answered ten folds. I thank each and every one of you have have some along side of me on this journey. Your thoughts and prayers have allowed me to get through each day with the strength and endurance that I did. May God Bless all of you and the journey that he has set before you. Until next time.....

One More Day
It has been such an amazing trip and I can't believe that I have only one more day left with the children. They are all very sad about the team leaving as we are to leave them. My heart has so much love for them that words can not even begin to describe. As much as we are doing Gods work for them, they have done an enormous work in me. Each and every one of these children will forever be a part of my life. They have taught me more than any text book or teacher ever could. I look forward to what tomorrow brings but saddend by the reality that this journey will soon be ending

Tuesday July 13th: Today it really hit me how difficult it is going to be to leave the children next week. The new bonds that I have created and the older bonds that are now even stronger will forever be part of heart. The bond that I have with Osward is only something that God could have brought together. Tears filled my eyes tonight as he sat in my arms as I looked around at all the children that will forever be my family. How is it that I am going to leave him and the others behind?? Until that day comes I will continue to pour put the love that I have to each and every one of them. I am blessed to have been chosen by God to be part of his greater plan.
Wednesday July 14th: I have been blessed again with an amazing day with the children. I have spent most of my time with Osward which I know God has planned and prepared me for. He is urning for just some one-on-one attention and love. he is such a kind hearted young man who needs to know how much he is loved and that I will always be part of his life. He is also a great student who has a huge love for mathematics. I look forward to what the Lord has planned for him.
We found out this evening that both of our House Moms lost family members today. Because of this we will be taking care of the children. Mai and Diane have volunteered to stay with the children in the homes. Please pray for them and their familes.
Thursday July 15th: Today's highlight was the PINATA!! Some of our team members did a great job making a pinata today for the children. The children had a blast taking turns swinging and breaking it open. It is amazing how happy all of them were and the smiles on their faces was nothing more than priceless :)

Lots to Share
Sunday July 11th: Today we visited Bishop Peter's church. Bishop preached how each of our houses should be a "House of Prayer," and how we must not foc
us on the negative in our lives. Instead we must turn the negative into prosperity. So often, especially in the US, we put all the attention on the negative aspects of our lives. I am very blessed to have an amazing husband, a job that I love, and warm bed to lay my head down every night. Bishops' message made me realize that I do not take time in my day to make sure that my home is being used as a "House of Prayer" on a regular basis. God has blessed me with more than I could ever ask for, and for that I am truly grateful. It took going across the world to Zambia to be reminded how God continues to bless me.
In a card that Micah wrote to me, he reminded me that today is the Lords Day and that I must praise and worship his name. He is right. Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, among the Nations; I will sing praise to your name.
Monday July 12th: I had a dream last night that I had to return home because I was having difficulty with my asthma. When I woke up in the morning I was feeling a bit anxious because I was to walk the children to school. For those of you who do not know, the air quality in Zambia is very poor. Throughout the day, people burn their trash and fields. This of course along with driving on dirt roads makes for some awful air quality. In the morning, after burning throughout the evening, it settles very thickly. I knew that I was to be bold and walk the children to school, so I sat and prayed. I prayed that God would give me his strength and that he would heal my lungs so that I could walk the children without any difficulties. After praying I read the card that Micah wrote to me, (he wrote me a little something for each day that I am away). His words were right on and spoke spoke directly to me. He shared that I needed to be bold and step out and use the gifts that God has given me. I am very grateful that I was bold and took the children today. Each and every one of them is a blessing!!
Today we spent all the time with the children at the village. Amy did a great job working with Given putting up the volleyball court. Other activities for the day included teaching the children how to make bracelets, playing cards, and teaching both the house moms and children how to sew. It has been such a blessing to be with the children. We are one big happy family. We are able to spend as much time with the children as we like. The children love it here!! It has been amazing to see how much the children have grown over the last for years. They have such a love for the Lord and amazing, innocent hearts. They have really opened up to each and everyone of us in way that they never have before. God is doing an amazing work here and I am blessed to be a part of it. I have much more to write about I must get some rest. Until next time....God Bless

Carnival Day!!
First off I want to share how God answered our prayers. Diane, whose flight was delayed because of bad weather and was not to arrive til Tuesday, made it to Zambia today. Along with her came her missing luggage and another teammantes luggage, PRAISE GOD!!!
Today was a great success!! We were able to get the carnival up and going and the children had a great time playing games and winning a lot of prizes. We had a bbq and passed out backpacks full of clothing and goodies. It is always a great blessing to see the look on the children's faces when they open them. They are so thankful for everything.
The children are doing very well. They have grown so much since I last saw them. I was able to spend time with Robinno, Joseph, and one of the workers Given today. They blessed me immensely with there words and companionship. God is doing amazing things here on the property. The presence of the Lord is definitely here!!
Please continue to pray for the team and our children. We have a mighty work still ahead of us and I cant wait to see what God has planned for us.
Love you all

I Made it to Zambia!!!
Hello all!!! I am here in Zambia safe and sound. The village looks great as does the children. They are beautiful and doing very well and excited for our arrival. We have settled into the mission house and took a bit of a nap to re-energize after our long travels. Right now we are at the "Arcades," a little strip mall, where I am on my laptop drinking a Coco-Cola. We are going to do a little grocery shopping and grab a bite to eat before we head back to the village. Tomorrow we will be spending the day with the kids. I look forward to all that we are going to be doing. I will keep you updated as much as possible. Thank you again for all the prayers!!
